Dr. Mullins was an outstanding surgeon and person. I faced 45 surgeries that began with removing a very large tumor from my hip. During the 14 months and weekly visits to the burn clinic and it’s ORs., I had the privelidge of knowing all the nurses , anesthesia folks and all the surgeons at JMS. My huge would was quite the challenge. Dr. Hasan took it on and Dr. Mullins backed him up by doing my surgeries when Dr. Hasan was away. Everyone treated me with kindness and compassion but it was always Dr. Mullins who would come out to talk to my kids after his surgeries and give them the update they needed on my well-being. Everytime Dr. Mullins spoke with me he always have me comfort and assured me that in time I would heal. Even with the serious infections that I had he and Dr. Hasan are the main reasons that I never lost hope. He will surely be missed. I am truly blessed to have known and trusted him and I am so grateful for the comfort and compassion that he showed everyone on a daily basis.
