Emergency burn and wound care education is essential for medical providers, nurses, fire and EMS personnel, and industrial workers who are often the first to encounter serious injuries. Proper training equips them to recognize injury severity, provide immediate and effective care, and stabilize patients before hospital transfer.
Because of this, the Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America and Joseph M. Still Burn Centers, Inc., work together to provide free emergency burn and wound care education to our partners in the burn community through in-person education at partner facilities and on-demand via BurnEducation.Com.
