Burn Treatment connects you with a medical professional from Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America, which is the nation’s largest network of burn centers.
Only registered users can connect with a burn expert for consultations. Registration is open to physician, mid-level practitioners, nurses, emergency medical crews and others. Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America will accept patients from any state.
Yes. All correspondence is conducted in a HIPAA-compliant environment. The application is password protected and employs end-to-end AES 256-bit encryption.
No data is cached in the memory of either the sending practitioner’s or the receiving Burn Physician’s phone. Data that is stored is encrypted and stored in a secure cloud server.
No. The app is only a tool for assessing a patient. It does not represent or imply any agreement regarding actual treatment of the patient.
