BRC-VA Providers Recognized with Prestigious National & Regional Honors

November 25, 2025 — Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America (BRCA) proudly celebrates the achievements of three BRC–Virginia team members who were recently recognized for their outstanding contributions to burn care and clinical education.

Dr. Jeffrey Litt and Dr. Mack Drake have each been awarded the prestigious Fellow of the American Burn Association (FABA) designation. This distinction honors their advanced clinical expertise, leadership, and long-standing dedication to the care of burn patients.

Earning the FABA title reflects not only individual accomplishment, but also a deep commitment to research, education, and the advancement of best practices in burn and reconstructive care.

 “Dr. Litt’s and Dr. Drake’s recognition as ABA Fellows reflects the caliber of care and leadership that BRCA is proud to support,” said Dr. Zaheed Hassan, President of BRCA. “Their work continues to raise the standard for burn care nationwide.”

 

Hali Wolf Earns Podium Recognition at Regional Conference

Also representing BRC–Virginia, Hali Wolf, PA-C, placed third in the Overall Podium Non-Physician category at the Southern Region Burn Conference earlier this month. Her presentation, “Standardizing Competency-Based Onboarding for Advanced Practice Providers in Burn and Reconstructive Care: Enhancing Clinical Integration, Quality and Retention,” highlighted her team’s efforts to improve APP education and team integration across the BRCA network.
